Pooches, I heard the word B-A-T-H, so I camouflaged myself as a garden flower. Pawsitively brilliant! I don’t think they’ll ever find me~

Pooches and Poetry for Hard Times
It’s Time
Let’s Rock It
Pooches, we make sure our humans get out for exercise everyday. Tomorrow morning, when you have your human safely on the end of your leash, walk her directly to the polling place. Let’s put our four paws forward for Democracy in Action. Rock the Vote, pooches. Woof.
Choose Love
Pooches and People,
Breathe…wag…choose love…then choose it again.
A Large Amount of Gratitude
Just the Way It Is
A Word after a Word after a Word is Power.
A Bark after a Bark after a Bark is Power.
A Yap after a Yap after a Yap is just plain irritating.
That’s just the Way it Is, pooches.
Love, Art, Instinct
Whatever it is that inspires you, just do it! Today. And tomorrow. And the next.
Ode to Ai Weiwei

Bask
I’ve noticed when people tell each other what they’re doing each day, they never say bask. I don’t understand why. Usually the conversation sounds something like, “I have errands to run, then I’ll grab lunch, get some work done, walk the dog….” But basking is a very important activity, and should be made a high priority whenever the sun is out.
Basking effortlessly puts you into a profound state of relaxation, contentment and sense of well-being. As soon as you start to bask, your body takes a deep breath and releases tension. A feeling of gratitude is a natural effect of basking.
Basking also connects your body to the earth…something lacking in modern living. The latest research about the importance of having your body directly touch the earth has revealed, “the ground provides a subtle electric signal that maintains health and governs the intricate mechanisms that make our bodies work-just like plugging a lamp into a power socket makes it light up.” So just by lying on the earth, you give your body a boost. If that’s not enough, basking in the sunlight is also one of the few ways to absorb vitamin D, which protects your body from disease.
So wow and woof Pooches and People. The next time you plan your day, make sure to take a few minutes for a powerful, free, and easy health booster for your body and spirit…And the best thing about basking? It feels so great.
